I wanted to give Manchester Town Hall the focus in this image. The skyline is changing all the while and the Town Hall is currently a slumbering gem in the city centre, undergoing major renovation works that will keep it closed until 2024. Yet it is still one of the most beautiful buildings in town, the result of fantastic craftsmanship, that is distinctive from pretty much any angle, including this often unseen view from above.
