This is one of my favourite pictures I’ve taken in recent years because it’s so unusual and inspires a lot of film references from people. I’ve had people tell me it reminds them of everything from Close Encounters to Titanic! I was fortunate enough to be strolling underneath the Mancunian Way one evening in winter when the fog had descended, which the car lights then began to pierce. It was quite eerie and beautiful and I was happy to capture it.
This is 078 in a limited edition run of prints - 10 in each size - once they are gone they are gone forever. Each print has been produced on fine art cotton, is acid free 300gsm paper and will be numbered and signed by 0161
