It is always a special occasion and indeed an awesome sight when the people of Manchester take to the streets en masse.  But there is nothing quite like The Manchester run for a unifying moment, people from all walks of life coming together for various causes and with them bringing a unique energy. I was fortunate to capture a release of this energy, just before the race commenced, during the warm up, tens of thousands of people with their arms aloft, happy and together.
