This picture means a lot to me as it is a photograph taken from my hometown, looking toward the city centre I love so much. As a child this view looked dramatically different, with the skyline almost completely flat unlike now where it is filing up with cranes and new skyscrapers. The centre is growing fast but the houses in the foreground are a personal anchor to the past.
