The backstreets of Manchester are a popular spot for filmmakers, wishing to transport their audiences back over a hundred years. They retain their charm from this era - especially on nights like this, where the mist hangs low and people traverse these streets in quiet solitude amidst the echoes of passing cars. I managed to capture one such person on China Lane on one of these nights, taken one evening around rush hour as he doubtless makes his way to join the masses once more.
