Big Hands is a Manchester institution. Home to scores of post Academy gig goers, students, rockers, dogs and the best jukebox in town. Drinkers have long been ensnared by the iconic and seductive red neon sign on the front of the bar and I wanted to capture how inviting a place this bar is. The décor inside reminds you of Berlin or Brooklyn but it is a distinctively Mancunian affair.
