The Gayeux Tapestry - The Queer History of Manchester

The Gayeux Tapestry. Created for Size? Store front window, Market Street, Manchester 2021. In Support of AKT Charity.

I was very pleased to be asked to create a design for Size? and their Market Street store window for during Manchester Pride this year (2021). This commission is in support of AKT charity who do wonderful work supporting homeless LGBT+ youth.

The tapestry is based on the Bayeux Tapestry and it charts the Queer history of Manchester dating back from the 1800s until the current day.
